From the lagoon hideaway to the most dynamic city in Morocco. On the outskirts we saw this man making his way down the highway. We were happy not to be the slowest vehicle around.



We arrived and promptly got lost in the narrow alleyways surrounding Aarset Marche (central market square). Although the people were nice and showed us through the maze, it was still stressful.

There really isn't much to do in this city, but to eat, shop and walk. Three of our favorite things to do. The best food in Morocco by far and the least aggressive hawkers.

The street life was vibrant.

high atlas mountains

From Marrakech we headed to a place where few people go and few plants grow. Closer to the Sahara.

Through the High Atlas mountains.

      
The van worked beautifully and looked like a piece of artwork next to the majestic landscape.
