This is the end of the road! We went south as far as possible until the road turned into sand dunes. After being chased by dozens of children further into the desert we wound up here, spending the night in the sand.

The next morning we took a walk along the dunes. There's Susana in red and our van in the background. The desert gave us a sense of peace. Especially, because the nearest town, Mhamid, was so creepy.

Sometimes death can be so beautiful.

We only spent a few hours traipsing around in the sand.

It's not all that easy to get water in Mhamid. We saw this well as we headed back from the desert dunes.
