We then motorbiked up the hill to see
Prambanan,
about half an hour away from Borobudur.
Prambanan is the biggest Hindu temple complex in Java.
Since Hinduism was brought here from India, Prambanan is similiar
to ones we've seen in India.
The carved murals along the walls depict stories from Hindu
scriptures.
There were carved Ganesha, Shiva, and other Hindu gods inside the
structure.
They were all being restored and so tall!
This is Shiva.
This is us and the murals. (side note: We weren't happy about the
entrance fee
for foreigners, but overall the temple was well kept so
we didn't feel so cheated...)
By this time Brian's hair was starting to mullet out.
He wanted me to help him document the occasion and show off a
little.
